Since joining Mackesy Smye, Jamie Cavanagh has focused his practice on representing clients in serious personal injury and commercial litigation cases. He has extensive experience as trial counsel both in jury and non-jury cases.

Mr. Cavanagh is a Member-at-Large for the Personal Injury & Insurance Practice Group of the Advocates’ Society, a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, Hamilton Lawyers Association and the Hamilton-Medical Legal Society.

In 1999, Mr. Cavanagh completed his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Western Ontario. He obtained his law degree in 2002 from Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2003.
